SEVEN health centers and urban clinics in Lae have received more than K450,000 worth of medical supplies to strengthen healthcare delivery across the city.
The medical supplies were presented to Milfordhaven, Haikost, Butibam, Buimo, clincs and health centers yesterday, providing a much-needed boost to frontline health facilities serving thousands of city residents.
This on-going support is aimed at ensuring health workers have access to adequate resources to better respond to the needs of patients and improve the quality of healthcare services delivered at the community level.
A second batch of medical supplies is scheduled to be delivered in October.
