Holy Rosary Catholic Primary School just got a nice little boost for its classrooms. Thanks to Kina Bank’s community grants program, the school received 20 brand-new desks to help students get more comfortable during lessons.
The whole thing was put together by Mr. Eden Koti, a Kina Bank worker who used to go to the school himself. He saw that the kids needed better seating and decided to apply for the grant to give back to his old stomping grounds.
“I am humbled to give back to my former school. Students learn better and are able to focus more when they are seated comfortably, which is why I wanted to do something meaningful for the school.,” said Eden.
The school’s head teacher, Mr. Tonny Stanley, was thrilled with the drop-off and happy to see the kids get some proper gear.
“We are very grateful to Kina Bank for this generous donation. These desks will greatly benefit our students by ensuring they are properly seated and able to concentrate better during lessons.,” said Mr. Stanley.
